Donor Relationship Development

 

Greater Cleveland's Boy Scout Council was looking to expand its donation community.  Working with other executive volunteers a targeted direct mail strategy was developed.  The process included helping the local Boy Scouts effectively profile their donor base.  It also includes efforts to more effectively mine their current database, secure appropriate outside lists and to develop internal procedures for handling phone, email or on line donations. They also worked to develop a direct on-line donation site. They launched a quarterly mailer that serves to highlight all the ways that donated funds benefit the Boy Scouts.
