Red {an orchestra} was the first orchestra to broadcast a live performance into the 3-D web-world, "Second Life".
Ms. Oney stepped in as Executive Producer to work with the collaborating parties of Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University and OneCommunity to do what seemed impossible. Twelve cameras were stationed at the live concert in April at the Cleveland Mason Auditorium A full-sized TV production truck sat in the parking lot which edited the program on and sent the finished program via a wireless terminal on the build's roof to Case. At Case, the program was fed into three performance venues where several hundred people from around the globe (as avatars) watched the performance.
Red {an orchestra} received world-wide recognition and accolades for this ground-breaking effort. It was an ideal opportunity to further Red's position as a cutting-edge orchestra looking to attract new audiences to the world of orchestral performance.
